Texarkana Policeman’s Encounter With ‘Vicious Dog’ Ends Adorably
Texarkana police officer Travis Frost recently had an encounter with a 'vicious' dog. As you can see from the selfies he took with Gold, an American Bulldog, the encounter was quite harrowing indeed.
Luckily, Gold was reunited with his human already. Be sure to microchip your dog and to register that microchip in case they ever get out. It vastly improves their odds of making it home:
A study of more than 7,700 stray animals at animal shelters showed that dogs without microchips were returned to their owners 21.9% of the time, whereas microchipped dogs were returned to their owners 52.2% of the time. Cats without microchips were reunited with their owners only 1.8% of the time, whereas microchipped cats went back home 38.5% of the time.
No word yet if Gold and Frost will team up for a buddy cop Movie, but here's hoping!
