Hooters Is Changing—But Will Families Actually Go?

Hooters is reportedly preparing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, raising concerns about the future of its locations—including Odessa, Texas. With rising costs and declining foot traffic, the restaurant chain has already shut down over 40 locations. Will Odessa’s Hooters survive the shake-up?

The restaurant is Bombshells, and Lubbock is actually getting a location very soon. They are building off of Milwaukee and Spur 327, and while it may seem a long ways away, they are expecting to be up and running by the fall of 2024. That is only roughly six months away.
