The San Antonio Spurs beat the New Orleans Hornets to spoil the NBA debut of top draft pick Anthony Davis.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs in scoring with 24 points.  Tony Parker had 23 points including a huge 3-pointer with 49.6 seconds to seal the victory.  Kawhi Leonard had 19 points to help the Spurs efforts.

On the other side of court, Anthony Davis had 21 points and seven rebounds in his NBA regular season debut.

The Spurs are in action tonight at home against the 2012 Western Conference Champions, Oklahoma City Thunder.  Tip off is at 8:30 pm on TNT.
