The Royals have had an above average run in the last two years when it comes to their defensive prowess. This play was no different.

The Royals came out of nowhere to get to the World Series. If they make it this year it will be no surprise. After making deals before the deadline for an Ace (Cueto) and an ultimate utility bat (Zobrist), the Royals are primed to make a big run in the second half.

They are already the favorites in the AL Central, but if this defense has anything to say about it the Royals may be the favorites to win the AL and go to their second straight World Series.
