Legendary professional wrestler Ric Flair made a special appearance Friday afternoon in Lubbock, Texas to meet fans.

An hour before the meet and greet event at the offices of personal injury attorney Davis W. Smith started, more than 200 people had already gathered outside. At 3:30 p.m., the line stretched from the corner of 13th St and Ave. K to the corner of Broadway and Ave. K. And it continued to grow as The Nature Boy arrived at the office.

Flair signed toys, posters, t-shirts and, yes, even replica championship belts. He shook hands and greeted adults and children alike. A TV in the office played clips from his decades-long career, and Flair noticed, beaming from ear to ear as he saw his younger self stylin' and profilin'.

The 68-year-old Flair also showed his humor. At one point, a Texas Tech student asked him to put up a downward-facing Texas Longhorns hand sign. Not missing a beat and before taking a picture with the young lady, Flair asked what it meant. She explained, and Flair rebuffed her request. A heartbreaker for Lubbock residents, but Flair seems to be a UT fan.
