Police Asking For Information Regarding Sexual Assault At Texas Tech Campus

Texas Tech and Lubbock Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect accused of sexual assault.

The incident occured around 1 A.M. Sunday morning on the west side of the Coleman Residence Hall on the Texas Tech University campus.

The student reported that she was sexually assaulted by a hispanic male, said to be 19 tp 20 years of age, with long sideburns, a thin mustache and stands at approximately 6 feet tall with thin build. The suspect was wearing a ball cap, with dark back and light colored front and bill, a long-sleeved top, shorts and tennis shoes.

Police are seeking information from the public about the suspect and incident and ask that anyone who may recognize the suspect to call the crimeline at 806-741-1000.
