Patrick Despain from Shut Down Inning Talks Rangers Pitching on the Sports Shack [AUDIO]

Patrick Despain, the ringleader of the Shut Down Inning crew joined the Sports Shack to break down the Texas Rangers recent pitching woes. Patrick and the show discussed how the Rangers have, "capable replacements" yet there is still a limit to what the bullpen can take. Despain also pointed out that Scott Feldman seems to be the only Ranger pitcher impervious to injury, much to everyone's annoyance. Despain discussed some of the trade options for Feldman, but feels that the Rangers are essentially going to have to pay Feldman to get rid of him. The show also checked in with Despain about the injured Rangers pitchers and how their recovery is coming along.

Finally, Despain discussed Josh Hamilton, and the issues surrounding his contract.
