Lubbock Police have released the identity of the victim wounded during a shooting at the Executive Inn Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the shots fired call just before 11 p.m. to the Executive Inn location on 44th Street and Avenue Q. Upon arrival the victim, identified as 38 year-old Joe Sanchez, was taken to University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the head.

As of this update, no arrests have been made.

A shooting at the Executive Inn left one person with serious injuries on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021.

The Lubbock Police Department responded to the shots fired call just before 11 p.m. to the Executive Inn location on 44th Street and Avenue Q. Upon arrival, one person was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

As of this time, no arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
