One person has been taken into custody and another suspect remains at large in relation to a murder that happened in Snyder.

It all happened a bit after 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 1st.

Snyder Police responded to Apartment #1 at 1912 Coleman Street after receiving reports of a gunshot victim. KAMC News reports that when officers arrived at the scene, they located 38-year-old Norris Lee Williams, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No updates were given until Monday, July 5th when Snyder Police announced that 2 people were wanted in connection to the murder. Those 2 people were 40-year-old Donald Earl Emerson and 28-year-old Misty Ann Parham.

On Tuesday, July 6th, it was announced that Emerson had been captured and arrested for Williams' murder. In a Facebook post, Snyder Police said that Emerson's capture happened "due to the community and surrounding areas sharing our post."

However, Parham remains at large. Snyder Police reminds citizens that it is a criminal offense to harbor, conceal, provide, aid, hinder, or otherwise prevent a fugitive with a warrant from being arrested. Anyone harboring or aiding Parham from being arrested will face criminal charges.

Parham, pictured above, is a white woman standing at 5'3", weighing around 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Parham's location is asked to contact the Snyder Police Department at 325-573-0261.
