
Monday Morning Fire Severely Burns Lubbock Apartment Complex
On Monday morning (June 4), a fire began at a local apartment complex in south Lubbock.
A report says smoke began spewing from an apartment complex at 66th Street and Avenue R at around 4:30 a.m. The report also claims that Lubbock Fire Rescue were at the scene with at least two fire trucks.
The two-story apartment is said to be vacant, and no injuries have been reported yet.
The fire was extinguished by 5:15 a.m. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
