This weekend I drove to Dallas in order to see my favorite band perform.

I went with my partner, and we were pretty set on just driving in, going to the concert, spending the night, and then heading straight back to Lubbock. Even though the concert was our priority, I wanted to find something fun to do on the way back to Lubbock, since we weren't set on getting home at a particular time.

We initially looked at some places to get some sort of food or drink that we couldn't get in Lubbock, but then it hit me.

I had never been to a Buc-ee's.

We didn't have them where I grew up, and as you know, we don't have any here in Lubbock either. We decided to stop by one on our way out of Fort Worth, and I can officially say that I understand the hype.

If you've never been, or you just want a reminder about how great it is, here are some photos from my first visit to Buc-ee's:

I drove to Dallas for a concert, and on my way back I decided to stop by Buc-ee's and see what all the hype was about. I am so glad I went, and I wanted to share my experience with all of you.
