Lubbock Police Successfully Talk Down Suicidal Person at Top of Raider Park Parking Garage
The Lubbock Police Department received a call about a suicidal man at the Raider Park Parking Garage, just after 2:30 p.m Thursday (Oct. 5).
According to the LPD, officers found the man at the top of the parking garage and negotiators were called to make contact with him. The streets near Raider Park were closed off during the incident.
LPD said that officers were able to take the man into custody without incident. Nobody was injured. The man was transported to a hospital.
