Lubbock Police Investigating Crash Resulting in Serious Injuries

Lubbock Police are investigating a crash that occurred Friday night (Dec. 7) that landed one person in the hospital.

Police were called to the intersection of 82^nd Street and University Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. for reports of a crash. When officers arrived they found a male victim who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Initial reports say the male was driving a pickup truck and crashed into a light pole.

Police are still investigating.
