The Lubbock Police Department have identified the victim of a Saturday morning pedestrian crash.
On Sunday, January 22nd, 2022, Lubbock police officers were called to a collision just before 4:30 a.m. in the 5700 block of Interstate 27. Upon arrival, 50-year-old Miguel Ramirez Jr. was found dead.
An investigation revealed Ramirez was walking east along the northbound lanes of I-27 when he was struck by a vehicle.
An investigation is ongoing.
