On Monday (Sept. 9th), Lubbock police officers searched for two juveniles who reportedly escaped from the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center

KAMC News reports that at around 2:20 p.m., police responded to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center for reports that two juveniles had jumped a fence.

The two escapees were located along North Loop 289 at a warehouse near the Berl Huffman Complex. Police say they had both juveniles in custody by 3:25 p.m.

Around 2:20 p.m. this afternoon, Lubbock Police Department responded to Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center to assist with two reported escapees in the area.

LPD actively assisted LCJJC in the search of these two escapees in the area of Clovis Highway, north of LCJJC.

The two juvenile escapees were quickly located and are now in custody.
