Lubbock Police Are Searching for Sonic Drive-In Robbery Suspects
Lubbock police are searching for suspects that tried to rob the Sonic Drive-In at 73rd street and Quaker Avenue Thursday afternoon (Dec. 14).
Initial reports state four individuals in a white Kia ordered food from Sonic and attempted to pay with a stolen credit card. When the individuals discovered that the card would not work, they attempted to leave. An employee jumped on the hood of the car to avoid being ran over and was carried for a block. The employee was able to jump off the car unscathed, while it sped away.
The driver of the Kia is said to be a girl, with three male passengers. All are said to be Hispanic.
