A Lubbock Market Street Location Is Making the Switch to Starbucks
As you may have been aware, the newest United location at 130th and Indiana opened with a Starbucks as their coffee cafe rather than a Peet's like every other United or Market Street that have a coffee shop area. Now, an established Market Street location is remodeling to make the switch as well.
The Market Street located at 50th and Indiana is currently being remodeled to host a Starbucks. This is after other renovations to various departments such as the seafood counter (which is quite handsome now, in my opinion).
If previous renovations are any indication as to the speed in which it will open, the turnaround will be very quick. We heard construction behind the tarp while we were there Saturday morning (Jan. 14), getting one last cup of Peet's.
