
Lubbock Man Indicted After Leading Police on Horse Chase
Eighteen-year-old Jaylon Sapp was arrested after taking a horse from a corral in South Lubbock.
Tuesday, February 7th, Sapp was indicted for third-degree felony theft of livestock according to Everything Lubbock. Reports say as the call of a stolen horse was made, one was spotted at the Cricket Court Apartments.
Sapp was spotted on the horse near Lowrey Field and led officers on a chase to South Q Drive and 61st Street.
As of Tuesday evening, Sapp remained in the Lubbock County Detention Center in lieu of bonds totaling $6,000.
