A Lubbock man was arrested on Tuesday, May 11th after he was found playing guitar in front of a burning home.

Police say that the suspect, 42-year-old Colin James Turnbow, lived at the house. The house apparently belonged to his father.

Lubbock Fire Rescue and Lubbock Police were called to the home on Tuesday. When exactly the call came in and where it happened wasn't specified in news reports.

Upon arrival, LFR said that Turnbow was "sitting in front of the listed location and playing a guitar while flames were coming from the front door of the structure." KAMC News reports that he was taken into custody once crews arrived at the scene and was placed in the back of a patrol car.

Police say that Turnbow intentionally, knowingly and recklessly started the fire. Officers managed to find multiple different points of origin for the fires inside the living room, kitchen and dining area. The reason for starting the fire hasn't been determined yet.

Turnbow currently remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of arson with bond set at $25,000.

News reports also didn't indicate whether or not there were any injuries as a result of the fire.
