Grand Jury Accuses Lubbock Man of Attempting to Obtain Child Pornography

A grand jury accused a Lubbock man on Tuesday, August 27th, with online solicitation of a minor.

Twenty-five-year-old Coty Austin Acevedo was arrested back on August 8th for the solicitation charge, as well as a parole violation.

KAMC News reports that an undercover officer posed as a 15-year-old girl online back in July, and reportedly Acevedo asked for sexual favors and pictures.

Court records say that Acevedo "continued relentlessly with his attempts to obtain what he believed to be child pornography."
