Lubbock Man Accepts Plea Deal for Aggravated Sexual Assault
A Lubbock man accepted a plea deal this week for aggravated sexual assault.
KAMC News reports the incident occurred in January 2017, when Lubbock Police responded to the 1600 block of Iola Avenue for reports of a man assaulting someone.
Police arrested 24-year-old Michael Anthony Longoria at the scene. He has been held at the Lubbock County Detention Center since.
Police say Longoria hit the victim multiple times, sexually assaulted the victim, and also struck a child. Longoria agreed to a 20-year prison sentence, and he will get about two years of jail credit.
Longoria will be able to request parole after half of the sentence is served.
