Joyland Amusement Park issued a press release on Friday, March 13th, 2020 that they will be increasing their focus on cleanliness and remaining open.

The amusement park is encouraging all guests to do the following:

  • Use hand sanitizer located throughout the park
  • Wash hands more often
  • Cough into the bend of your elbow
  • Greet each other by waving instead of shaking hands
  • Keep hands away from face and eyes
  • Drinks plenty of water

Joyland is monitoring any changes in the current situation through daily updates from the CDC and Texas Department of State Health Services.

The amusement park is encouraging all guests and team members to remain positive and try to keep their lives as normal as possible while being diligent in self-clean practices.
