Here's some information regarding the 2026 El Paso Jerk-Off event

El Paso is getting ready for a beef jerky showdown unlike any other. The all ages, (and free to attend) Jerk-Off 2026 is bringing local jerky makers together for a competition to determine who can make some of the best beef jerky around. The event will be located at Flips Neighborhood Bar & Grill, 1071 Country Club Rd, El Paso, TX 79932, on October 17, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

But this event isn't just about the food. Along with plenty of jerky to sample, the event is also helping support pet adoptions, giving local animal lovers another reason to stop by and check it out. Both Laws & Paws and Lunas Animal Rescue will be on sight with dogs available for adoption.

There will be local music provided by El Paso's Dusty Low & Austin's Tiffany Christopher. In addition to the jerky venders for people to enjoy, all kinds of local craft vendors & businesses will be there to support.
