Organizers for the highly anticipated "In A Pickle" pickle festival were left "in a pickle" after the festival's massive failure on March 15. Not only was this deemed by many as disappointing, but also dangerous since there were not adequate police and paramedics to cover the thousands of patrons.  It was also said that there was no water at the water stations and very limited public restrooms.

The lines to get in the festival a mere 30 minutes after opening were set to go as far back as 8 blocks catching the neighboring neighborhoods off guard who had no idea the event was taking place.  Many people complained that despite being a pickle festival, some didn't even get to eat a single pickle while attending.

The "In A Pickle" festival has seen massive success in the Houston area for the past 6 years and this was the first attempt to take the festival to different portions of the state.  Whether it was poor planning or poor execution, the event angered many people with many of them expecting their money back.

Organizers orchestrated a heavily-worded Facebook post expressing their deepest apologies.  However, the damage appears to have already been done.  The interest in the event far exceeded the capability of the venue and seems to have severely damaged the festival's reputation.

What would you do in this situation?  Would you demand your money back?
