Louisiana Mom Brings about Heartfelt Reunion of a Dog with a Boy
(Lake Charles, Louisiana) - One Louisiana Mom reached out on social media after finding what she knew was a beloved keepsake, and it led to a joyous reunion for a boy and his mom.
When you were a child, there was probably a toy that you loved and couldn't be separated from. I had a teddy bear that I carried everywhere with me until I was six. When I went to first grade, I knew I had to leave him at home on my bed.
The separation was difficult for me, and I am sure the separation was also rough for this little boy.

Now, imagine you are a little boy who gets separated from the thing you love the most. These things happen, and this was the scenario for two families in Lake Charles.
Keidra Clark is the mother of a little boy named Grayson. His most beloved thing is his stuffed animal named "Dog", and yes, it's a stuffed dog.
Look how cute this child is!
Ashley Frantz was in a local store using the self-checkout when she noticed a stuffed animal that looked like it was very loved, and she just knew someone was missing this plush animal.

Frantz says she knew what must have happened because when her daughter was little, she, too, had misplaced a beloved toy.
Ashley Frantz did what most of us do when we are looking to identify an object or owner or both: she posted about it on social media. Clark was also on social media, and she came across the post from Frantz!
Clark says it's just a miracle that Frantz's post got 200 shares, that she came across it on social media, and that Frantz kept Dog safe while the search was on.

Um, I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING!
Clark says it's so amazing that Frantz did. She was kind, safeguarded Dog, and made sure that the beloved stuffed animal made it home to Grayson.
Clark says,
So as a mom, it touched my heart. You know something so small, you know, anybody could have just walked by a little dirty-looking dog and not have thought anything of it. But she took the time to pick it up and actually make a post about it. And not only that, she had over 200 shares and so not only her, but the people in the community played a big part in helping us find Dog.
And you guessed it! There was a reunion!

A Louisiana Reunion Between A Boy And His Lost "Dog"
Frantz, at the reunion, even presented Grayson with a little scrapbook with pictures of her and Dog. Frantz said she wanted Grayson to know Dog just had an adventure.
Frantz explains why she put the scrapbook together,
It would help him, maybe, understand where he went. So like, if he loses him again or something else happens, he would just have a way to put it together that Dog’s just having fun and maybe make it hurt less. So I don’t know, just something he can look back on one day and just a cute little memory. That Dog had some adventures.
What a beautiful ending to a sweet story.
Clark says it was like a little miracle because she saw the social media pictures of the stuffed dog, and Frantz was kind enough to take care of Dog until the reunion happened.
Now, are we all going into the closet or the storage shed to get our beloved stuffed animal from childhood? Sniff, sniff, grab the tissues!
