The Largest Pancake Festival In The World Is Saturday In Lubbock
Are you ready for pancakes, sausage, and entertainment? The largest pancake festival in the world is getting ready to flip those pancakes for the 72nd year.
The 72nd Annual Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival is happening this Saturday, February 17th from 7am to 8pm. The event will take place at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Tickets will be $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Kids under the age of 4 will eat free.
The pancake festival is "all you can eat" which means a lot of food is ordered just to make sure everyone who attends gets to eat as much as they want. How much food does it take to run the largest pancake festival in the world? According to the Lubbock Lions Club, the pancake mix alone is 6,000 pounds.

The Lubbock Lions Club still hold the world record for the most pancakes served in an eight-hour period by a nonprofit.
Throughout the day there will be entertainment on the main stage and many opportunities to buy tokens and give back to the community. If you have never attended the Lions Club Pancake Festival, or if you have attended every year, but sure to come on out and have some breakfast while supporting a good cause. The money raised by the Lions Club goes right back into our community to different non-profit organizations.
