
Texas Tech Football Announces Game Times For First Three Games
It may not feel like it, but football season is right around the corner. Sure, we have a long hot summer to get through first, but Texas Tech Football will be kicking off in no time at all and now we know what times Texas Tech will be kicking off their first three home games of the season.
Texas Tech Football Kicks Off On August 30th
Texas Tech Football will kick off the season on August 30th against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Jones AT&T Stadium. The teams will face each other at 6:30pm and the game will air on ESPN+.
The following Saturday, September 6th, Texas Tech will have an 11:00am game at home inside Jones AT&T Stadium hosting Kent State. That game will air on both TNT and streaming on MAX.
Texas Tech will wrap up its non-conference schedule at home at Saturday, September 13th against Oregon State at 2:30pm in what could be a very hot matchup. That game will air on FOX.
Texas Tech Starts Big 12 Play on the Road
Texas Tech will travel to Utah on September 20 and then to Houston on October 4, before coming back to Lubbock to face Kansas. Below is the full schedule as we know it for Texas Tech football in 2025 (home games are bold).

Sept. 6: Kent State, 11 a.m., TNT/MAX
