Taylor Sheridan, the creator of great hit shows Yellowstone and Landman, will be doing a big project for the State of Texas.

It was announced earlier this week that Sheridan will produce and direct a new film for the Alamo Visitor Center and Museum. The theater will reportedly feature the world's most technologically advanced 4D Theater.

According to News4SA, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick was very excited to have Sheridan be part of the project.

Once I saw the plan for the theater, I knew there was only one screenwriter, film producer, and director in the world to make this film for the Alamo Museum – Taylor Sheridan,” Patrick said. “Over the last decade, Taylor has told the story of the American West – the people, the land, the depth, and the history – in a way no other filmmaker has. In addition to his amazing film portfolio, Taylor is a native Texan who knows and loves our state and its history.

No word yet on how long the film will be. Again, this won't be something that is on tv or streaming. This will be like one of those videos you watch at the be beginning of an exhibition that take about 15-30 minutes to watch.

So if you want to see the film, you will have to go back to see the Alamo. And you should.

Though, having Sheridan to a movie or tv show about the Alamo isn't a bad idea.
