Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 45 People Arrested Near the End of July
July 2023 comes to a close but if you were too busy or just locked up in the Lubbock County Detention Center then we have some things you might have missed.
In the Air!
Recently one of our beloved co-workers, Wes, had a surreal experience when he came face to face that could only be deemed as a fairy princess moment. This experience came about when he confronted by a swarm of hungry and fast insects. They were having a late night snack and he happened to experience them feasting on the blood of our enemies. One animal that could keep with those fast and furious insects is actually federally protected and a baby version was actually recently rescued.
After that federally protected bird had a chance encounter it was rescued by a wonderful human being who did not hesitate to help the bird. If you've wanted to soar with the eagles, or protected birds, then you could easily take a trip from the Lubbock International Airport. There's actually quite a few places you could get to from Lubbock via air travel, I have never flown personally but this list is making me rethink that.
Party!
The city of Seagraves is holding their sixth annual city wide festival which also happens to be the 106th year since the town became Seagraves. There will obviously be a big party that will last three days but what's a party without the sweet treats. A new dessert place is opening in Lubbock that will have plenty of treats that are made same day which means you will be guaranteed fresh made sweets. While you eat those treats why not pick up a new hobby that is gaining popularity in the DIY community. You will look great and doing decal transfers just sounds like a fun Saturday night!
