Lubbock Police Ask for Help Searching for Robbery Suspect
The Lubbock Police Department is currently asking the public for their help in searching for a robbery suspect. The suspect is said to have robbed a convenience store back on June 10 and then again just ten days later on Tuesday, June 20.
KAMC news reports that the first robbery that occurred on June 10 was just before 5:15 a.m.. The second robbery occurred at 6:14 a.m. on June 20 in the same convenience store, it is believed that the suspect in both robberies is the same person. That suspect was captured on video surveillance with a handgun in both robberies and demanded money from the cashier on duty before leaving the convenience store.
The suspect is said to be a black male standing at 5' 7" to 5' 8", weighing between 150 to 180 pounds, and is believed to be between the ages of 30 to 40-years-old. The male suspect was seen on video surveillance wearing a black hoodie with white and blue lettering that reads "Dallas Cowboys" during both robberies.
