Get Ready For Pancakes! 71st Annual Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival Is Coming
Get ready for pancakes, bacon, sausage, and more pancakes. Oh, and pass the syrup and butter along as well. The Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival is back at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on Saturday, February 18th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It's an all day event and fundraiser with all you can eat pancakes. This is the 71st year of the Lubbock Lions Club Festival and tickets are still at a great price. Cost of the tickets in advance cost $10 and $12 at the door.
And at the Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival, you won't have to worry about any supply chain issues. Nearly six thousand pounds of pancake mix is headed to Lubbock along with 41,000 ounces of Pancake Syrup, 80,000 sausage links, and over 23,000 slices of bacon. And that is just the beginning.
According to a press release from the Lubbock Lions Club, which is one of the largest Lions Club's in the nation, the money raised from this fundraiser helps many organizations.
Because everyone likes Pancakes!!! The only thing better than eating a LOT of pancakes is knowing that each year Lubbock Lions Club donates all of the profits raised from the Pancake Festival to over 30 charities. Some of the organizations that benefited from the monies we raised the past couple of years include, the Adult Eyeglass Program, Boy Scout Troop 157, LISD Eyeglasses for Children, Children’s Miracle Network, Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army, Sick Children’s Clinic of Lubbock, YWCA Adaptive Aquatics Program, Catholic Charities and the Texas Lions Camp for children with special needs (Lubbock children attend this camp for free).
