A New Mexican Food Restaurant In Shallowater Has Set An Opening Date

Shallowater is about to get a new restaurant. And it's been in the planning and building stages for months, but finally has an opening date.

Mi Casita De Adobe, an authentic Mexican food restaurant, will celebrate its Grand Opening on Monday, April 1st and no, this is not an April Fools joke. The owner of Mi Casita De Adobe took to Facebook on Thursday to discuss the opening and why it's taken some time to open.

Mi Casita De Adobe is located at 911 Clovis Rd. in Shallowater. For now, it appears as though it will be take out only, but the owner hopes to build a patio soon. For Isabel, the owner, this is her very first restaurant.

When it comes to small businesses and local restaurants, Shallowater has seen some successful ventures recently including Fred's Garage and Lyshas Handcrafted Food. We hope nothing but the best for the all new Mi Casita De Adobe in Shallowater when it opens.
