10th Annual Kidsfish Event Is Coming Soon In Lubbock
The Lubbock Lions Club announced on Tuesday that the 10th Annual Kidsfish event is coming up at the end of April and the free event is open to kids of all ages.
For those who haven't attended before, the Kidsfish event put on by the Lubbock Lions Club takes place in Mackenzie Park, the same area where Santa Land is hosted each year. It's at 600 Cesar E. Chavez Drive in Lubbock.
The lake will be stocked with about 800 pounds of catfish so that means there will be plenty of opportunities for kids to catch a fish or two. And don't worry, you won't need a fishing license to participate in the Kidsfish event.
The 10th Annual Kidsfish event starts at 7:00 am and lasts until 1:00 pm. There will be prizes, fishing poles, and bait. Lunch will be served at about 11:00 am for those who are fishing. So plan on taking the kids out to the 10th Annual Kidsfish event and enjoy the outdoors and fishing!
