A Lubbock new restaurant and bar is now open dedicated to providing amazing service with a menu packed full of a wide variety of quality food.

Whether you’re looking for a casual dine-in experience or a lively evening out, Ground Zero has something for everyone.

Ground Zero was established by two Texas Tech University alumni from Houston, Texas. Their goal was to bring the “big city” feel to Lubbock.

The bar and grill will have a lunch and dinner menu to cater to families as well as a bar menu for those who enjoy late night outs.

Ground Zero has appetizers like onion rings, wings, fried mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, dips and more. They have hand-helds like burgers and sandwiches. They have seafood options like catfish, po-boy, shrimp, salmon and more. Their mains include chicken fried steak, chicken lamb, steaks, short ribs, and more. They have pasta options as well and a late-night menu from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Don't miss their daily specials, margarita Monday, double t Tuesday, wing Wednesday, twisted Thursday, and frumple Friday.

Ground Zero is family-friendly and does have a kid's menu. According to the owners, they want to let college students know that “Ground Zero can provide for them.”

The restaurant's hours of operation will be Sunday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Dining hours will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and bar hours will be from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The address is located at 2522 Marsha Sharp FWY. Lubbock, TX 79415. There is complimentary valet parking until 9 p.m. You can do self-parking on the 5th floor and up.
