Calling all chicken lovers, something new and hot is coming to West Texas.

Dave’s Hot Chicken, the Los Angeles-based street food sensation turned breakthrough fast-casual brand, announced today that it has locked in a multi-unit franchise agreement with operators Mickey Rogers and Daniel Stanton.

The deal will serve various regions in West Texas, including Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, and Odessa, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the state.

Rogers and Stanton, the driving forces behind Café Venture Company, have cultivated an impressive history in the restaurant industry developing Johnny Carino's Country Italian.

The duo currently has 9 Fuddruckers in Texas and New Mexico and operates Café Venture Catering. Stanton’s expertise in real estate and restaurant openings, complements Rogers' skills in construction and marketing, creating a recipe for success in their new restaurant venture, Dave’s Hot Chicken.

“We have been looking for a brand to diversify our portfolio and, after years of searching, Dave’s Hot Chicken was the perfect opportunity with a fan-favorite product and potential for growth,” said Rogers. “Daniel and I are actively exploring avenues to contribute to our local communities. Our dedication goes beyond our business goals as it extends to our commitment to introducing the flavors of Nashville-style heat while igniting a following in West Texas.”

Founded by Arman Oganesyan and classically trained chef Dave Kopushyan, along with brothers, Tommy, and Gary Rubenyan in early 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken initially opened as a parking lot pop-up, with lines quickly wrapping around the block. Since then, the brand has exploded in popularity and now has over 140 locations in the United States and Canada.

Specializing in hot chicken tenders and sliders, with spice levels ranging from “No Spice” to “Reaper,” each restaurant also serves sides of house-made Kale Slaw, creamy Mac & Cheese, and crispy Fries or Cheese Fries.

"Their passion and excitement are something that we look for in our franchisees, and we can’t wait to see their success in bringing the Nashville heat to the South."

Dave’s Hot Chicken offers a robust business model, including national and local marketing support, proven systems, manuals, and operating procedures, as well as assistance with site selection. As the brand expands, it is seeking qualified, experienced, and passionate restaurant operators and franchise groups to develop the concept in key markets such as Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Pittsburgh, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, and Mississippi.
