Lubbock’s Santa Land Announced, Volunteers Needed
The City of Lubbock's 67th Annual Santa Land is right around the corner. This is one of Lubbock's biggest Christmas events.
Santa Land is scheduled to open on December 9th and close on Thursday, December 21st. The community can enjoy the festive holiday village with a 50-foot Christmas Tree, animated displays, and Santa’s Workshop.
Approximately 50,000 people visit Santa Land each year to see the festive holiday village with its huge lit Christmas tree, animated displays, bonfires, traditional holiday scenes, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Santa Land is open to the public and free admission for all ages. It is located at 600 Cesar E. Chavez Dr, Lubbock, TX 79401.
Each evening it starts at 6 p.m. and has a sleigh with tiny reindeer bring Santa and Mrs. Claus to Santa Land to hear the Christmas wishes of area children.
Families will enjoy live entertainment most evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hot chocolate and other refreshments are available for sale at the concession stand. Parents are welcome to bring cameras to take photos of their children with Santa at no charge.
