Food Trucks for a Cause is a monthly food truck festival that sims to support Lubbock non-profits by donating part of the proceeds of the event to that month’s chosen organization.

The month of June is dedicated to the amazing Lubbock dog rescue, Saving Grace. They are a pit bull rescue that is dedicated to helping get the misunderstood bred off the streets and into loving homes. Along with bully breeds, they do have other dogs in their care that all deserve their forever homes.

Having Saving Grace as this month’s non-profit means that 10% of all sales will be donated to them.

There will be over 20 different food trucks, a variety of vendors, music, and of course, dogs to adopt. There will be indoor seating available with air conditioning, so don’t worry about sweating in Lubbock’s summer heat while you eat.

The event is at Aldersgate Church on Sunday, June 25, starting at 10:00 a.m. and running until 6:00 p.m.

They’ve previously raised over $1000 for Lubbock non-profits, which is a great donation to support local causes. Plus, you get to enjoy some tasty food while you’re out there. This is also a great chance to try some food trucks you haven’t had the chance to since so many will all be in the same place.

These events always take place on the last Sunday of the month, and you can keep an eye out for future events on their official Facebook.
