The weekend has arrived, and so have your last-minute plans. Let’s take a look at what events Lubbock has to offer this weekend.
Friday
If you are looking for a relaxing evening to kick off this holiday weekend, you’re in luck.
Suplbk is hosting their usual Sunset Paddle at Dunbar Historic Lake. They are a kayak and paddle board rental service, and the sunset paddles look like a very fun and relaxing experience. Saturday
This Friday has some more options to get you and the family up and around town. Cook’s Grage is hosting another Coffee and Cars event, there is also a cruise to Lubbock planned for this event.
A local Lubbock band called Strawberry Season will be performing at Cotton Court Hotel, and Prairie Blossom Marketplace will be up and running starting at 10:00 a.m. Of course, you can also check out the classic Wolfforth and Lubbock Downtown farmers markets to shop a variety of local vendors, grab some food, and get some sun. Be sure to wear sunscreen and stay cool.
