Lubbock Last-Minute Plans: 4th of July, Sunset Paddle, and More
The weekend has arrived, and so have your last-minute plans. Let’s take a look at what events Lubbock has to offer this weekend.
If you are looking for a relaxing evening to kick off this holiday weekend, you’re in luck.
Suplbk is hosting their usual Sunset Paddle at Dunbar Historic Lake. They are a kayak and paddle board rental service, and the sunset paddles look like a very fun and relaxing experience. There is also a variety of live music playing around town. Take a look at the Lubbock Facebook Event Page for a full list of options including Bo Garzel & Arle Rossnagle, Yvonne Perea, and more.
A local Lubbock band called Strawberry Season will be performing at Cotton Court Hotel, and Prairie Blossom Marketplace will be up and running starting at 10:00 a.m. Of course, you can also check out the classic Wolfforth and Lubbock Downtown farmers markets to shop a variety of local vendors, grab some food, and get some sun. Be sure to wear sunscreen and stay cool.
This whole weekend is also full of various 4th of July events. There is a little something for everyone, so keep scrolling to see a list of events.
