The City of Lubbock Parks and Rec are hosting an Easter Egg-Stravaganza alongside Townsquare Media.

When & Where?

It will be hosted at Mae Simmons Park on March 16th, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will be full of fun for the whole family. From your kiddos to your dog, everyone will be able to participate in the Easter fun.

What?

The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with a Spring Stroll along Canyon Lake located south of the Mae Simmons Community Center. This will take place all day and will include a variety of vendors and an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 12 and up.

The Annual Easter Bunny Brunch will also start at 9:00 a.m. and will be hosted inside of the Mae Simmons Community Center. Pre-registration is required and tickets are available to purchase online. The brunch will run until 11:30 p.m., so you have two and a half hours to enjoy.

After brunch, you can head to the Mae Simmons Community Center parking lot for the Easter Bunny Car Hop. There will be a variety of prizes you can get from the participating cars, plus even more food options available via a food truck.

If you are a dog parent that also wants to participate, you can check out Easter Pups starting at noon at the Tennis Courts behind the Mae Simmons Community Center. There will be an Easter egg hunt just for dogs, so you can bring your pup to have some fun. There will also be dog specific vendors and photo ops with the bunny.
