(Dallas, TX) The biggest story in sports over the past weekend didn't have anything to do with the Super Bowl prep. It was the blockbuster and shocking trade of Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic.

The Mavericks traded Dončić, a 25-year-old star who has already earned five All-NBA First Team selections and is entering his prime, on Saturday in exchange for power forward Anthony Davis and a first-round pick in a 3 team deal.

Doncic was beloved by Mavs fans and the trade sent the city and its fans into a state of confusion, followed quickly by RAGE.

The next day after the trade was announced, Mavs fans converged at the teams home arena to hold an impromptu protest. As many as 50 people showed up expressing their disappointment in the teams management and demanded that the teams owner "sell the team"....we'll get back to that in a second.

The fallout hasn't stopped even while Doncic was holding a press conference in Los Angeles with his new team. According to ESPN, Mavs fans have been cancelling  their season tickets in droves so the team is offering refunds while its also being reported that the team plans to RAISE its prices for next season.

That's not all. A local brewery is attempting the quench Mavs angry thirst with a new "beer" appropriately called "Sell The Team'.

Celestial Beerworks, which is based in Dallas, is launching a new IPA that they describe as "a double hazy IPA" that "pairs well with our despair & confusion,". The beer is not on sale yet but if you're in the market for a cheap Mavs jersey, there's tons of them going for cheap online.

Mavs GM Nico Harrison, who orchestrated the trade, is in the hot seat now and if this trade backfires or turns into a disaster, you can best believe Mavs fans outrage will only grow.
