Looks Like a Promising Weather Forecast for July 4th in Deep East Texas
Independence Day is this weekend, and most - Yes, I said MOST - of the big events revolve around being able to go spend time outdoors. That means that most of us have been keeping an eye on the weather forecasts, just to make sure that it won't affect any of our plans. Well, it looks like the weather won't be an issue for July 4th festivities this year.
Weather Forecasts for July 4th Look Good, Just Hot
According to a couple of different forecasts that I looked at, the forecasts for our Deep East Texas area are looking pretty good. There are no significant rain chances, and even the wind is supposed to stay pretty low.
The first forecast I looked up was from the Weather Channel. They're calling for mostly sunny skies, with only a 24% chance of rain on Independence Day. They are calling for hot temperatures, though, with a predicted high of 94°. That night they're looking for temperatures to drop down to about 74°.
The second forecast I looked up - just so that I wasn't going off of a single source - was from the National Weather Service office out of Shreveport. They are predicting a similar forecast to the weather channel, calling for a "Sunny and hot" Independence Day, with temperatures hitting a high of about 95°, then going down to about 76°.

Like I said, these are pretty good forecasts for the July 4th events. It looks like you'll be able to get out, fire up the grill, hit the lake, enjoy the fireworks...You know, all of the outdoor fun stuff! Now, the only challenge is choosing which events to go to...
