Spring Break Activities For Outdoor Enthusiasts In Amarillo, Texas

Palo Duro Canyon is one of my favorite places to hang out year-round. Even when there aren't special programs and activities scheduled, it's always a good time. When they do schedule special things, it just makes heading into the canyon even better.

There's a long list of programs and activities that will be happening during spring break this year at Palo Duro Canyon State Park. They recently released the calendar and it is packed full. The best part is that there is something for everyone.

What Is Happening At Palo Duro Canyon For Spring Break?

The calendar of events that was released for spring break includes everything from hikes to creative programs that will have you doing everything from painting to building a birdhouse.

There are two different night hikes scheduled. One is a constellation hike, and the other is a full moon hike. There are things scheduled specifically for kids, and several events and programs are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.

Once we get through the last of this brutally cold weather we've been having, a few days down in the canyon might just be what the doctor ordered. I'm craving some time in the sun exploring the trails at the Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
