If someone broke into your home, they'd probably go looking for whatever was worth the most loot: jewelry, electronics, and whatnot. But, luckily, the most valuable thing in Lubbock homes isn't actually worth much at all.

Can you guess what it might be?

No, it's not "memories" or "love" or anything goofy like that...

It's that one dang phone charge with a cord long enough to stretch all the way to the couch.

We all have one. It's six or ten feet long, works like a dream, and everybody in the house knows EXACTLY where it is when YOU need it. When misplaced (or stolen by your little sibling), you're suddenly sitting on the floor with that short little cord like it's 2008.

Close second? The good tweezers.

All the other tweezers in your home SUCK. There's always only one pair capable of ripping out the chin hairs you inherited from your grandpa.

While we're at it, another super valuable item in our homes is the remote control with working batteries.

Those batteries are priceless, dude. You've moved them in and out of that remote control like 16 times now to power other devices randomly. Tell me those batteries aren't valuable. I'll wait...

Lubbock Value

Truthfully, the most valuable things in Lubbock homes aren't flashy and expensive at all. They're everyday items that quietly make your life easier until the moment they go missing.

And, by the way, whoever has my good tweezers better bring them back. It's an emergency.
