Lubbock Lottery Players: Numbers to Avoid If You Want to Win Big
Some lottery numbers are luckier than others, despite what we've all learned about statistics and probability.
What Lubbock Players Should Know About Lottery Odds
Theoretically, every number should be approximately even with any other number. If there are 49 numbers, logic would dictate there's a 1/49 chance (or approximately 2% chance) that any of those numbers will be drawn.
However, historically speaking, some numbers get drawn way less than others. We will take a look at those later.
Does that mean you should actively avoid them? That's up to you, and you could argue that maybe they are overdue for a winning streak.
Should You Play Quick Pick or Choose Your Own Numbers?
Again, this is entirely up to what feels lucky to you. However, Quick Pick is much quicker (thus the name) and easier, and you can even use a lottery vending machine (I have a love for those things).
Quick Pick also eliminates your bias towards common numbers, which could have you splitting a jackpot with other people, but splitting one is better than no jackpot at all!
Personally, I have favorite numbers (any multiple of 3), but it feels more lucky to me to recognize them as picked by Quick Pick than to force them- does that make any sense? Probably not, but we are talking lucky juju here.
Which Lottery Game is The Luckiest?
Your best odds are playing Cash Five, but the prize amounts are much lower than, say, the Powerball, which is multi-state and can reach astronomical jackpot amounts.
Of course, there are also scratch-off tickets, which have odds (including break-even) of about 1 in 3.75 games, including break-even prizes.
Ready to Pick Your Numbers? Here are the ones to avoid (and just for luck, the luckiest lotto number!)
