A fire broke out at Bryan's Steakhouse this morning, March 6th, 2023, sending a wave of fire crews over to 1212 50th street to put out the blaze. At this time, there are no reports as to what caused the fire, but it is believed to have started in the kitchen, sometime before 10:30 am. There are also not yet any reports of injuries, but we will be updating this article with more information as we get it.

They will be closed for the rest of the day today, at the very least.

Bryan's is definitely the last place Lubbock needs to lose, and hopefully, they will be able to recover quickly. The restaurant holds a big spot in all of our hearts. They've been around for a LONG time, and a lot of us have really fond memories of crawling around the big cow sculpture in front of the building after Sunday school while our parents held our spots in line. It's a great place to go to grub on an awesome salad bar, steak fingers, chicken-fried steaks, and all of the other yummy southern food we adore.

I took a friend there that was visiting me from Finland, to give her a taste of what growing up in Lubbock was like. She absolutely adored it, especially the cornbread sticks.

KFMX is sending all of their love to Bryan's and we hope you guys have a speedy recovery from this unfortunate event. Check back later for updates on the situation!
