Country Legend Willie Nelson Returns To Lubbock In 2024

I'm not sure there are too many Texas folks whose lives haven't been touched by the music of Willie Nelson. Last year we played On The Road Again at my grandfather's funeral. He had been a trucker and specifically requested the song. It brought great comfort to me as I knew he was hearing his favorite song as he hitched a ride on a heavenly convoy.

Who doesn't get teary-eyed at Seven Spanish Angels? Who doesn't get whipped up to rowdiness upon hearing Pancho and Lefty? My friends and I would often do karaoke of The Highwaymen, and I always insisted on being Wille, with sword and pistol by my side! 

So, it is with great excitement that I get to relay this: Willie Nelson is returning to Lubbock. He will be performing at Cook's Garage on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 17th at Cook's Garage website.

Also, booked for 2024 at Cook's Garage are Treaty Oak Revival, Oliver Anthony, Midland, Giovannie and the Hired Guns, and Baily Zimmerman. It's a solid lineup so far and bodes well for a robust 2024 concert season.

On a personal note, I was impressed with the facilities at Cook's Garage when I last attended a concert there. More than one parking area and entry point made getting into the venue a quick process, the bars were well-equipped, quick, and had friendly bartenders. There was ample security and a great vibe.
