Bruno’s Pizza & Pasta Celebrates 50 Years in Tyler This Week

Bruno's Pizza & Pasta in Tyler is celebrating 50 years in business on October 15 and 16, 2026, and the Rumbelow family is inviting the community to join the celebration. The longtime Italian restaurant has been serving homemade pizza and Italian dishes since 1976, giving generations of East Texans a place to gather over a good meal.

Bruno's is located at 15770 FM 2493 and for 50 years they have been serving up delicious food and great memories that families in East Texas have enjoyed. And it's pretty cool that to celebrate they are going to be offering things to the public, inviting everyone to join in on the celebration.

To celebrate, Bruno's will be having Happy Hour Specials from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Plus, there will be giveaways, door prizes, and offering Bruno's favorites.

Why 50 Years in Business Is Worth Celebrating

We all know that right now it's difficult to own and operate a business; rising food costs are something that businesses are dealing with right now too. And to be in business for 50 years is quite an accomplishment.

I'm a big fan of Bruno's, not only because they are close to my house, but because the staff is friendly and the food is always good. While I have only had their pizza, I have heard their lasagna is some of the best in town. Maybe that is what I will try as they celebrate their big milestone.
