Victoria West Senior Madi Alaniz Faces Leukemia With Strength and Courage
I start by sending love, prayers, positive vibes, and strength to Victoria West High School Senior, Madi Alaniz, and family. She has recently been diagnosed with ALL Leukemia, also known as acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This news is everywhere on social media, but this one hits close to home because she is a student at West High School.
Madi was about to start her Senior year as a Victoria West cheerleader and bring spirit to the sidelines during Friday Night Lights! A year that is supposed to be filled with fun times with friends and making memories of a lifetime will now be replaced by 9 months of intensive medical treatments in Houston.
It is time, as a community, to become a cheerleader for Madi and let her know that the whole community is behind her! She is the true definition of a West Warrior, as she will fight this diagnosis with the Warrior Spirit!
