Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh My! How about wolves? Arkansas' Little Rock Zoo is getting ready for a howling good time in October. By the way, International Maned Wolf Day is on Sunday, October 5.

2025 Howl-O-Ween at the Little Rock Zoo

Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 18, and Saturday, October 25. 2025. Join the animals, spiders, and snakes for a creepy day of fun. Come dressed in your costume and hop on board the Carousel, or climb on board the train for a spooky, fun ride around the zoo.

The zoo will be decorated with a Halloween theme as you explore the animals, play, and snack in the spirit of the season.

Howl-O-Ween Schedule of Events

  • 9 AM - 10:15 AM: Take a picture with one of the zoo's animal mascots
  • 10:30 AM: Join the fun in the Costume contest at the Elephant stage for amazing prizes
  • 11 AM - 1 PM: Big Poppa Bubbles fills the air with shimmering bubbles the whole family will love

All events during Howl-O-ween are included with General Admission on October 18 and October 25.

Pardon the Mess

Visitors to the zoo should be aware that the Little Rock Zoo is under an exciting transformation known as Project Zoo: Wildly Reimagined. There may be some construction going on while you're there, so pay attention to the signs in the zoo for redirection around the park grounds.
