Lubbock Police Release Names of Married Couple Found Dead in Home
A married couple was found dead Saturday in Lubbock following a domestic disturbance call. Both were shot.
Late Saturday night (December 29th), Lubbock Police Department Public Information Officer Tiffany Pelt released preliminary information about the shooting.
According to Pelt, officers responded at around 9:20 p.m. to a domestic disturbance on 29th Street. The call claimed their was a shooting at a home.
The following day, the Lubbock Police Department released new information that confirmed two people were found dead: Tim Scarborough (60), and his wife, Sharon Scarborough (59). Both died of apparent gunshots wounds, police said.
Police have not stated what led up to the shooting deaths. However, the department did confirm that there are currently no outstanding suspects.
Both the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office Metro Special Crimes Unit and the LPD are investigating the events leading up to the husband and wife's deaths, police said.
